E-mail from Suzzanna and Andy Farnsworth, following their wedding at Borthwick Castle:

Dear Ray

We wanted to take a few minutes out of our honeymoon in Austria to thank you for making our wedding day so special. Our 50 guests from all over the world all had wonderful things to say about your performance and said you really brought the history of Scotland and the castle to life. I knew the first time I heard you speak at Drumnadrochit that they would all be able to understand your accent, which is a rare gift I can tell you. I saw some of them wandering around looking at things like the window where Mary Queen of Scots climbed out to meet her husband..... and her little chapel and talking about it. Of course the boys loved the weapons as well, as boys will do.

I very much appreciate your flexibility on the day as we were running very late, and your ability to find little pockets of time to share your stories with us. I have been told so many times that people hate to wait for pictures to be taken but you kept everyone entertained and happy, and got the speeches off to a great start. You really pulled the whole evening together and made a great master of ceremonies.

I wanted to share my love of Scotland with my family and friends, and believe I did so with your help. I even had excellent compliments about you from my Scottish guests! I would highly recommend you to anyone wanting unique entertainment for a wedding.

Thanks again for making our day so very special.

E-mail from Stephanie & Mark Lucianovic on their return to Boston

Dear Ray

Mark and I have just returned to Boston and wanted to write immediately to let you know how delightful your performance was at Castle Stuart. It was so nice of you and the people of Castle Stuart to arrange for you to come and perform to such a small audience as the two of us made. We had been learning so much Scottish history during our Highland honeymoon but we finally were able to put everthing together while watching your performance. It was also quite wonderful how patient you were to answer our rather extensive questions - all in all it was an amazing event for us.

Thank you for making our Highland honeymoon even more special.

Best wishes and sláinte!

Stephanie & Mark Lucianovic
