Welcome to the Highlander's Experience. The Highlander brings to life Scottish History in an entertaining and informative show. Hear the story behind many of the great periods in Scottish History, including the story of the Jacobites as they followed Bonnie Prince Charlie to within 130 miles of London and the long road home to Culloden. Dressed in the traditional costumes of the times and carrying authentic weapons and equipment, the Highlander will allow you to gain a true sense of the past, and learn how life in the Highlands has changed since those momentous events.

2008 will be my 10th year as the Highlander. It will be my 10th year at Culloden House, my 9th year at Skibo Castle and onboard the Hebridean Princess and my 7th season on The Royal Scotsman train. Much of my winter work is with schools and this is also my 10th year working with Primary Schools throughout the North of Scotland bringing History & Science to life.

The big news for 2008 is the TV series Highlands where I have been involved as Historical Consultant as well as co-writing and appearing in front of camera. The show which tells the history of the Highlands will be shown on STV on Sundays at 5:15pm on the following dates - April 13th, 20th, 27th & May 4th, 11th, 18th and the series is repeated on the History Channel on Thursdays at 8:30pm on the following dates : May 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th & June 5th & 12th and has also been released on DVD. I have also been involved with friends in the making of a DVD called Highland Legends which should also see release in 2008.
