The Highlander's Historic Experience

Highland voices from the past bring Scottish history to life. Hear the story of the events leading up to the last battle fought on British soil, at Culloden on the 16th April 1746 or the real story of "Braveheart" during the Scottish Wars of Independance (1286-1320).

The Highlander will tell of his experiences in the Jacobite army as he followed Bonnie Prince Charlie to within 130 miles of London and the long road home to Culloden or of his experiences as he fought with Andrew de Moray, William Wallace and Robert the Bruce at the battles of Stirling Bridge and Bannockburn.

Dressed in the traditional costume of the time, and carrying authentic weapons and equipment, the Highlander will allow the audience to gain a true sense of the past, and learn how life in the Highlands has changed.

Using the extensive experience gained from presenting the story of Scottish history to tourist groups, the Highlander's Experience is ideal for any audience - and for all age groups - whether at hotels, social clubs or private functions.
